In the linked article, from ZDNET’s Mary Jo Foley, is a possible roadmap for major Microsoft products over the coming years.  As an enterprise professional, the question that comes up, can the enterprise customer keep up with this pace?  Right now the answer would be a flat out “NO”, as most enterprise customers are still on Windows XP and have just standardized on Windows Server 2008 R2.  The discussions that enterprises should be having now is how they plan to keep up with the product updates with Microsoft without being on the bleeding edge.  The touch discussions will be working with the other software vendors used in the enterprise to ensure they have roadmap to keep up with Microsoft.
